Details
The Dolce will take you places you've never dreamed of. Light, fast, and fun: simple words that can't describe the quick-handling, smooth-pedaling feel of Specialized's A1 Premium Aluminum frame and FACT carbon fork. Paired with tacky Specialized tires and corner-carving Axis Classic wheels, and you'll be adding bonus miles to the route home. Integrated shifters, smooth, easy lever action, and a gear range that topples mountains are right under your hands thanks to Shimano's 16-speed Claris drivetrain. And when it comes to comfort, it's hard to do better than Specialized components and a sleek, supportive women's-specific Body Geometry saddle.

I bought this a few years ago and it is my first road bike. I have no desire to upgrade as this bike is amazing! It gets a LOT of use and has never disappointed me! I rode another model before this one and I am so happy I waited and tried the Dolce!

Comments:
I bought this bike a week or so ago and put in a 20 mile ride yesterday on it. I LOVE IT! It's a great bike and it fits me perfectly. It's fast and the components are nice and smooth. I still think I would have preferred a double over a triple, but that was my mistake, not the bicycle's. I find that this bike rides smoothly and that the shocks are absorbed by the seat post and the cork wraps on the handlebars, okay. You certainly do not want to be hitting potholes or too rough of roads on this bike, but it performs outstandingly...and...the price is very nice! I highly recommend this bike for any woman wanting to get her feet wet in road cycling and not spending an outrageous amount of money.

Great for long rides or short ones. Best for SPEED- this bike loves going FAST. Not the best for city rides just because Toronto has some poor roads out there- and with every bump-you do feel it.

[...] Initially I was hesitant to spend more money on a new bike because my Trek mountain bike was stolen. The road bikes cost a lot more money but are really well worth it. I tried different types of bikes and the people at the store never tried to upsell me. They helped me pick a bike tht was within my budget, needs, and made sure it fit my body frame. I took this bike for a ride around the neigbhorhood and really love the handling on it. I love that it's light even though it's made of aluminum. I tried the carbon bikes and didn't feel much of a difference so I didn't fork over $500 extra for the carbon. I also love the brakes on this bike because they are on two areas so it's easy to handle if it's been awhile since you've been on a bike. Thanks Bike Barn [...] I will be back to buy my mountain bike in the future.

I've had this bike for 1 yr. & have logged almost 2,000 mi. on it.... I LOVE this bike, and the price doesn't get any better for the quality. I've used it for quite a few triathlons, as well, and it has allowed me to be competitive without breaking the bank. Go for it!

Comments:
Just picked up this bike and it's great. The geometry fits my body height, leg length and torso length well. I tried the Trek 1.2, Fuji Finest 1.0 and 2.0 as the only bikes in the size range I needed. The Fuji Finest 1.0 has better components but the same type of frame. This is my first road bike. Between the two, even though the Fuji has better components, I'd rather save the $$$ as the handling seemed a bit more sensitive on the Dolce and was just as easy to ride as my MTB. The 44cm frame is great for shorter riders (I'm 5'1") who want 700mm wheels instead of 650's.

Comments:
this is actually my first road bike, so im not sure if ill be much help, but this is what i figured so far. i enjoy riding it; it is light-weight and very woman-friendly (comfortable) =). it is kind of stiff though, probably because of some aluminum components, but im not exactly sure why. overall i like it so far, and i think its a good starter bike for road riding.
